Date of visit: 1st July 2006 Oops.. Sorry about the mistake I made in the previous post, with such lousy colour and small font... Like I've destroyed the page... Dui Bu Qi Da Jia... Will try to be smarter this time round I hope =P I was telling hui that I uploading the blog and she was so excited... So when she saw the photos, she was happily commenting on the individuals... Guess she missed us a lot!!! We miss both of you too, hui and xue... !!! Well, we went to have dinner @ Elmer's Uncle's Restaurant, Simply Peranakan. Went to the one at Esplanade as its more central location to all, despite its many other location. The food there is quite tasty and the colours of it makes me drool... We all enjoyed our dinner!!! (So Elmer, how much u going to pay to Sister's Fund for advertising for you =P) It's great to see so many of us! And glad to have Mervyn back in Singapore to join us... A part from the dinner, its another opportunity to meet up with Jing before she flies to Melbourne to further her studies (1 year)... we all chipped in a small sum to got her a scarf, glove, photo w frame and a tiny ang pow (w $$ inside la =P)... She's glad! to receive the ang pow... and of course the gift... Thereafter dinner, we had a long and warm stroll before settling down... Walked all the way from Esplanade to Marina Square, and finally to Millenia Walk... Settled down at a pub... While some were chatting, others were watching World Cup (Portugal vs England = Portugal won)... Amusingly, there were many other pubs ard and they were cheering for the team and guess what... we only managed to understand their cheers like 5 secs after... keke... So... We had a tactic... Turn and watch the game, only when the next door cheers... Means something interesting is going to happen on our screen next! Good right =P Dunno what to write le, so shall end off... Btw, this blog and the previous was a belated blog... =P Present: Mervyn, Alan, Jie and Elmer, Weiling, Jean, Lijing, Linwen, Candice, Shilin and myself (zhuzhu)... Reuben joined for drink and linwen, shilin and candice left after dinner... went home about 3am for the rest of us =)
